Unitarian funerals do not follow a set format, and may take place in a Church, Crematorium, graveside or a garden. Our aim is to provide a ceremony which would be tailored to reflect the life, and beliefs if any, in a way personal to yourself, or the one who has died, as well as those of the people who mourn them.

It is our privilege to help you create a personal, meaningful, ceremony, and we believe that whatever form of ceremony you choose, it is important that your wishes, and choices, are respected, and we would aim to meet those wishes.

Many people find the idea of planning your own funeral a positive and empowering act, it gives those who will have to organise your funeral guidance, and ensures they are aware of how you would like your life to be commemorated. t Mark's Unitarian Church at Castle Terrace, Edinburgh, has been our meeting place for almost two hundred years. We also meet via Zoom and you can connect with us through social media (Facebook and Instagram).
